I had a decent stay at the Best Western Los Angeles Worldport Hotel. The rooms were clean and nicely remodeled, which added to my comfort. However, there were a few issues with staff interactions and dining options that left me wanting more. Overall, the value for money was good, but improvements could make the experience much better.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, which I really appreciated. It had a modern feel due to the recent renovations. However, I did notice that the beds were a bit hard, and some amenities could use an upgrade.
Service
6.0
While some staff members were very helpful, I encountered a front desk associate who seemed a bit off-putting. It was surprising given the general friendliness noted at breakfast. This inconsistency impacted my overall experience.
Location

The hotel is conveniently located right off the freeway and close to Denny's for easy dining. However, I found that there's not much else within walking distance, which was a bit of a downside for me.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was included and had decent options like scrambled eggs and make-your-own waffles, which I enjoyed. Still, I found the selection a bit limited, and some items could have been stocked better.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had nice outdoor spaces including a pool, which I appreciated during my downtime. However, I noticed some maintenance issues with the jacuzzi not working, which was disappointing.

5.2/10

I had a decent stay at the hotel. The location was really convenient for heading to Long Beach, but the noise from outside was quite disturbing at times, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was adequate, though more variety would have been nice. Overall, it's a solid, budget-friendly choice, but there are definitely areas for improvement.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean and well-equipped, though the walls felt a bit thin, leading to noise from neighbors seeping in. The beds were comfortable, which helped me rest better despite the commotion outside.
Service
8.0
The staff was friendly and helpful, particularly at breakfast, which made me feel welcomed. The check-in process was a breeze, but I did experience an issue with odors in the hallway and elevator.
Location
6.0
The hotel sits in a not-so-great area, right off a busy street. It's super close to public transport and Long Beach, but it took a bit to navigate road traffic to actually get there.
Dining
6.0
The complimentary breakfast had decent options, but it was crowded and could use more seating. I appreciated the variety they offered, but I would have loved to see more healthy choices like yogurt and fresh fruit.
Facilities
7.0
Parking was easy and secure, which was a major plus. However, I was disappointed that the jacuzzi wasn’t working, as I was looking forward to using it during my stay.

I had a fairly good experience at the Best Western Los Angeles Worldport Hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was satisfactory with decent options like make-your-own waffles and scrambled eggs, though I felt it could have been slightly better. One downside was the awkward location which made access somewhat tricky, especially coming from the freeway.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious and clean, which I appreciated. Despite initially seeing earplugs provided, I never encountered road noise during my stay.
Service
7.0
The staff was generally friendly and professional, particularly during check-in. However, I did have an experience where one staff member was less accommodating when I requested a shower chair.
Location
6.0
The location is a bit tricky to navigate due to the busy street and freeway access, but it's conveniently close to the World Cruise Terminal. I found it awkward to enter the parking area from the freeway, which caused some inconvenience.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast spread was good for a hotel, featuring basics like waffles and scrambled eggs. It met my expectations, although I wouldn't say it was excellent.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities included secure parking and adequate common areas. However, I noticed that there was no cleaning during my stay except by request, which should have been communicated more clearly at check-in.

I had a pleasant stay at Best Western Los Angeles Worldport Hotel. The cleanliness was impressive and the breakfast options were plentiful. but I did find the surrounding area a bit concerning. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, the noise from the nearby freeway made it slightly less relaxing than I had hoped.

My stay at the Best Western Los Angeles Worldport Hotel had a mix of highlights and challenges. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcomed, especially during breakfast. However, I encountered a few issues with parking and noise levels that affected my overall experience. The location, while convenient for the cruise terminals, was quite busy, making it tough to enter the hotel at times.

The staff were fantastic, particularly Yasmin, who went above and beyond to assist me with any requests. Unfortunately, there were a couple of instances where communication could have been clearer, specifically regarding parking.

The hotel's proximity to the cruise terminals was a significant advantage, making it just a short Uber ride away. However, getting into the hotel was a bit frustrating due to the busy traffic on the freeway, which caused issues upon arrival.

The complimentary breakfast was decent and filling, with hot options available. However, the eggs were often watery, which could use improvement. Still, it was convenient to have breakfast available early in the morning.
